In Kentucky, no lower age is specified for a “status offense action.” The highest age a child’s conduct can be considered a status offense is 17. Non-delinquent behaviors include: conduct beyond the control of caretaker/s or the school, habitual running away, habitual truancy, and certain alcohol and tobacco offenses labeled “status offenses.” KRS § 610.010
