The Juvenile Justice GPS adds a sex offense registry topic.

The Juvenile Justice GPS team has collaborated with the Center for Youth Registry Reform (CCYR) to add a new sex offense registry topic. The CCYR (a member of IMPACT JUSTICE) is a national youth advocacy organization dedicated to documenting the complexity of state policies on juvenile registries and providing national advocacy for repealing registry laws. CCYR tracks state policy regarding sex offense registration and also develops state cases studies concerning how these laws are applied in practice.

The collaboration has the benefit of adding the sex offense registry topic to 40 other policy and practice topics profiled within the juvenile justice GPS website.
