New Hampshire age boundary law becomes effective in July 15'--number of states with an upper age boundary lower than 17 at a historic low of 9 states

The New Hampshire change brings the count of states that set the playing field for original jurisdiction below 18 down from 13 states 1997-2009 to a historical low of 9 in 2015. Most of the change occurred over the past 5 years and several of the remaining 9 have introduced bills that failed or have task forces or study commissions examining the issue.
